Total Leucocyte Count (TLC) is a blood test that measures the total number of white blood cells (leucocytes) present in a given volume of blood. White blood cells are an important part of the immune system and help the body fight infections.

An increased TLC may indicate infections, inflammation, stress, or conditions like Leukemia. A decreased TLC may be seen in viral infections, bone marrow disorders, or weakened immunity.
